Hey all! It’s been a while since I posted and I have a lot to catch you up on. I wanted to wait to post these pictures in the hopes that I would have some actual completed projects to show you but unfortunately our problem just would not die. It’s a V8 called Carnivore and it is SO fun but SO hard. You are totally gassed by the end and it’s takes a lot of strength and endurance to finish it. Plus the top out is hard as all get out. We took a total of 3 trips up here to work on it and got to the same place every single time! Aaaaarrrgggghhh! So frustrating. But we’re hoping that some more training over the summer will help us tick this off in early Fall. We’ll keep you posted. The weather was beautiful and our good friends came up with us 2 out of the 3 times so we had great company. =) Hope all is well with everyone!

Hey everyone! We went to Henry’s first grade play the other night and had a great time. The theme was “The Box” and it had to do with using your imagination or something. Haha! I think it is so funny…I can still remember back to the elementary plays that my school would put on and how I’d see my mom (and dad, once) sitting in the audience. Little did I know they were bored out of their mind and begging for it to be over! HAHAHA! Ok, that’s not how we felt the other night, but it only lasted about 30 minutes and trust me, we were READY when it ended. First off, we could barely see anything. This huge guy sat in front of us and kept having to move to try and see Henry. Then there were tons of little kiddies in the audience who wouldn’t be quiet. (Mine included) AND it was hotter than hell in there too. Soooo…suffice it to say, it was short, sweet and ended just when people were about to go nuts. =) Henry had tons of fun and it was sweet to watch him perform. Enjoy!
All the first graders. Henry is in the front row 6th from the left. The shortest one of all! =)Looking around for us… (Mom, Joe and B – WHO does this look like!!!? Just crazy, right!?)Getting into itI know you can’t see him in this picture, but you can see him jamming out while the other kids are still. Hilarious.Yeah!! So cute…He’s such a clown. I love it.The end. Love this little turkey.
Hahaha! Not really. I don’t think we’ll ever get ANY pets again. If you weren’t aware, we got rid of our two cats. Our really good friend, Steve, took them and now they are living like kings down at his house. I’m super happy about that but not eager to repeat the whole pet situation again. Not sure if that will change. I know the kids would love a dog…but again, it’s such a responsibility. I’m not saying never. Just not right now. We’ll see what the future holds. In the meantime, I am more than happy to have this little fellow up at the top of our patio cover coming and going as he pleases. He is SO cute!!!
Look at this sweetie! He is super tiny. His whole body probably spans the palm of my hand…Good grief, you can also see what a shoddy paint job we have. Yikes.Ok…he’s so cute. Creepy but cute. Hahaha!
I can’t believe my little boy is 7 already. Seriously, it’s gone by so fast!! This year was pretty relaxed. Went down to Grandpa’s to celebrate with pizza and a ninja turtle cake. Woohoo!! We measured Henry tonight and he’s grown an inch in 3 months! My heart!!!

Greetings from our beautiful oasis in Tucson! The weather has been phenomenal lately but it is slowly creeping into hotter temperatures. I expect it to hit a 100 by the end of the month. Just got back from a really fun Flagstaff trip…and didn’t take ONE picture! Woops! No worries though…we’re planning on going back again in 3 weeks to crush some projects and enjoy the cool weather. I have a lot to update everyone on, so this will be my first of 3 posts.
Easter was awesome – Joe was down visiting for a week and helped us take some really good pictures. The boys of course had a blast hunting eggs and we invited Grandpa up to get in on the action. I love having a huge back yard along with an acre of property. Although a lot of it is cactus, there’s still plenty of room for us to hide eggs. =) I hope everyone else had a great Easter and got some yummy candy.
