Not too much has been going on this past week…just trying to get into a routine with the baby and get as much sleep as possible. Will’s waking up twice during the night which isn’t too bad – Tommy and I have been splitting the shifts so we can atleast get SOME sleep. Mom will be leaving on Friday so the real test will begin then…it’s been nice having another pair of hands to help with Henry. I’m still slowly recovering – my energy is up in the morning and then crashes down in the afternoon. We’ve been on a couple of walks which were a bit of a struggle, but it felt good to stretch my legs. I’m looking (very) forward to getting back to my workout routine and fitting into my clothes again. 🙂

Last night was hilarious – I think Henry was feeling a little left out of the loop since most of our attention has been toward the baby. So he suddenly got really cuddly and affectionate…even toward Will. We put the baby on his blanket to stretch out and Henry wanted to give him a hug. So I lifted up Will so Henry could hug him but instead of doing that, he kept running around in circles and kissing Will on the head as he passed by. Finally I pulled him in and poor Will was squished a little bit. It was pretty cute. Then Henry decided he wanted to feed Will – so I gave him the bottle and he would just stick it in the babies mouth and then pull it right back out. Will wasn’t too thrilled by this so by the 5th or 6th time he just closed his mouth while Henry proceeded to try and stick it up his nose. Poor thing! I finally had to take it away and Henry was pissed of course but it made for some comic relief.
