Hey all! We thought after all the pictures of our awesome woody, we should show you how we climb on it too. We whipped out the camera the other night and got some video of everyone climbing around. =) Enjoy!
Ok, soooo…I know this is so silly. I mean, let’s be honest, graduating from kindergarten to first grade…is it really that big of a deal and does it require a cap and a ceremony for crying out loud??? No, it doesn’t. HOWEVER…with that being said, I cannot tell you HOW MUCH FUN we all had yesterday at Henry’s graduation. (They call it a “promotion” for the sake of being PC. ok, whatever.) I wasn’t sure what to expect honestly, but Grandpa, Tommy, Will and myself hauled our lawn chairs out to the courtyard to see what all the commotion was about…and boy, am I sure glad we did!! Henry was the most ADORABLE boy ever and my heart was just bursting with pride and love when I saw him up there. Yes, he is my son and so I’m a little biased, but look at these pictures, people…you will not disagree with me. =) Watch the video at the end for some ridiculous adorableness. Enjoy!
Grandpa got up early with us to go see HenryWill found a good seatOMG…This poster makes me feel old.His little hand…Walking to the stage…It was hot out there…So…I realize Henry isn’t exactly dressed up. BUT in my defense I was told they were going to be getting a gown too, so I didn’t think it was necessary…obviously there was no gown… =(He was one of the littlest guys out there…All the kiddies…Walking up to receive his hug and certificate…Look at how tiny he is compared to that giant behind him…Hugging Mrs. Brockman. We really loved her – she was such a doll.Getting his certificate from the principalFinally spotting us…Acting shy…My gorgeous little boy – he made me so proud that day. =)
Wowowowow! I can’t believe my little turd is 6 years old already. Time has just flown by and it is amazing and sad all at the same time. Henry got some great presents this year – the best one was his very first bicycle!! He LOVES it and we took him to the park the other night where he rode it around for about an hour and did a great job. Didn’t do too big of a celebration this year – just us and Grandpa. It was great fun though – and William is looking VERY forward to his birthday coming up soon. =)
The boys woke up super early to celebrateHis first present was a lego watch. He’s crazy about telling time right now. =)Our birthday pancake tradition.
Will insisted on having some too. =)Let’s blow ’em out!Later in the day it was time for pizza and cake!6 years old!The most adorable Grandpa in the world came to hang out with us.Time for cake!!They loved this thing…Singing the birthday song!Blowin’ out the candles again! Will loves frostingI think he’s having a sugar seizure here…Hmm…I wonder what this could be?Time to find out!Reading his cards…Will trying to figure out what the heck it says…OOOOOOhhhh!! Water guns! These were a great hit. Good job Grandpa!A SpongeBob card that he loved…Unwrapping the beast…Alright! New wheels! Ok…I know this is so lame, but would you believe that we took video of Tommy bringing the bike out to him and him trying to ride it and it got erased? Uuuuughhh. I am horrible with technology. =(
My little boys have become obsessed with drinking coffee. I’m not sure why…maybe it’s because they are trying to emulate us or it makes them feel big, but it’s gotten ridiculous…they can only drink from certain cups and they can only sit in certain places. Don’t worry, it’s decaffeinated. I may be silly but I’m not dumb. =)
One of Tommy’s co-workers had his graduation party at Lucky Strike Bowl yesterday. Henry and Will were an absolute hoot and fell in love with bowling. =) Henry did really well too, considering he had clown shoes on and his roll was more of a throw. Haha. I guess we’re gonna have to go back at some point and let him get some more practice in…
He was so tenacious! It was adorable. He didn’t care how big the ball was, he was going to roll it!!He looked so damn cute in those shoes…This is a blurry picture but Daddy had to keep Will from dropping the ball on this toes!
